Akira Technologies is seeking a Senior Software QA Analyst to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) in the development and sustainment of shore-based ship maintenance and logistics automated information systems.
Work will be performed in Norfolk, VA.
The successful Software QA Analyst will need extensive experience working within the DoD/Navy programs. They should demonstrate familiarity with a variety of field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. This individual will rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, and independently perform a wide variety of complicated tasks.
Job Duties:
- Act as subject matter expert (SME) in providing testing expertise for support of user requirements of complex to highly complex software or hardware applications.
- Direct and/or participate in all phases of risk management assessments and software/hardware development with emphasis on analysis of user requirements, test design, and test tools selection.
- Manages test design and documentation support all applicable client, agency, or industry standard timelines and budgets.
- Ensures testing conclusions and recommendations are fully supported by test results.
- Makes certain that project managers are informed of testing status and application deviation from documented user requirements.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field.
- 12+ years of experience in a related field.
- Full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming.
- Good understanding of the business or function for which applications are designed.
- Secret security clearance or higher.
