Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Implementation and Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Technical Implementation and Support Engineer, you will be responsible for the successful deployment of our software solutions for financial instant issuance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a range of responsibilities, including customer facing deployments, quality assurance (QA) and software troubleshooting, while leveraging your expertise in computer science and management information systems (MIS). Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and provide technical expertise for the system implementation of our software solutions for financial institutions.

- Participate in the delivery and Support of our products and part of the software development life cycle, testing, deployment, and maintenance, with opportunity to participate in software updates to fix issues.

- Conduct testing and quality assurance of software deployments to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.

- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues during the implementation process, providing timely and effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.

- Collaborate with software development teams to enhance and customize software solutions based on client requirements and feedback.

- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, and troubleshooting procedures, to support both internal and external stakeholders.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to financial instant issuance and software deployment.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field is required.

- Entry level experience in Software Implementation and Support

- understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.

- Skills and or experience in Software Implementation and Support, preferably in the financial industry or related domains is a plus.

- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile.

- Knowledge in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python, with the ability to code.

- Solid understanding of databases (SQL or NoSQL) and experience with data manipulation and querying.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.

- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

- Proactive and self-motivated, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in quality assurance (QA) methodologies, including test planning, test execution, and defect tracking.

- Familiarity with financial instant issuance technologies, such as EMV, payment card industry (PCI) standards, and personalization processes.

- Knowledge of secure coding practices and data security standards.

- Understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and their deployment models.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

The Implementation Engineer II belongs to the FII Business Implementation team and reports directly to the CTO. The position purpose is Manage and Execute deployments projects of FII software and hardware.

EXPERIENCE

- Entry level to senior positions available, previous experience in installation and configuration of HW and SW components is a plus

- Previous experience in Project management

- Preferably coming from production and R&D context in digital and printing sector
