We are looking for a talented Senior Manager, to be focused in our Data pillar of the Alli platform. This team uses API connections and other automation techniques to supply the other pillars of the Alli application and the entire company with its business critical data needs.
We use:

  • AWS and GCP;
  • NodeJS, JavaScript/React, Go, Python and R;
  • Redshift, BigQuery, Postgres, Mongo, Redis, etc.;
  • Docker, k8s, Terraform, GitHub;
  • SCRUM-inspired agile development process.
We are looking for engineers who have:
  • Deep foundational knowledge of algorithms and data structures;
  • Profound understanding of distributed system design principles;
  • SOLID Software Engineering expertise (OOA/OOD, TDD, CI/CD);
  • Strong adherence to agile values;
  • Team-first, proactive approach to work and great communication skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and implement numerous data integrations via API
  • Participate in formulation and implementation of the Data pillar roadmap
  • Work with the product management team to create industry transformative products
  • Build complex & highly scalable technical solutions
  • Drive initiatives with a high company-wide impact
  • Draft architectural decisions and ensure reliable and state-of-the-art products
  • Work with a world-class team of engineers, collaborate with designers and product managers to ship new components and features
  • Lead code reviews; provide critical feedback to fellow developers and mentor junior engineers
  • Work in a team with flat hierarchies and short decision-making processes
  • Work within a dynamic & international environment with an agile working culture using methodologies such as SCRUM
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 7 -10 years experience working in a development team
  • 3+ working with the Mongo, Express, React and Node stack
  • 4+ years managing a team of highly skilled developers
  • Experience in building quality software including testing, code reviews, clean code, refactoring strategies etc
  • Mastery of your own tool set (IDE, shell, debugging etc.)
  • Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs
  • Excellent analytical, planning and problem-solving skills
Additional Preferred Requirements:
  • Hands on experience working with GenAI and Large Language Models with Big Data
  • Interest or familiarity working in Digital Marketing.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef or Puppet
  • Experience with Grafana, Docker, AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes and can safely maneuver/setup configurations in those environments
  • Experienced with DDD, NoSQL, Go, Python
  • Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
