Software Engineer, motivated to achieve results, with a high standard for work deliverables, to join the Investment Platforms Technology team. You will be responsible for developing applications that manages Positions and Cash of different asset classes across all accounts in Lord Abbett. - Design and develop software modules to meet the business requirements
- Analyze existing software code, update code to meet the enhancement needs

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields with 5+ years of experience in application design, coding, testing, maintenance and debugging skills and strong experience with Java 8/J2EE distributed application development, REST, domain model microservices, Spring Boot, and API gateway.
- Experience in maintaining and developing applications using front end technologies like ReactJS, CSS and HTML.
- Good understanding with DevOps tools like DevOps Jira, Confluence and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
- Experience with cloud data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks etc. is a plus.
- Experience in development with SQL, Postgres, NoSQL DB
- Experience with messaging technologies like Kafka.
- Experience leveraging open-source technologies and developing with service-oriented architecture
- Expertise in architecting and developing highly reliable, fault-tolerant distributed applications with a focus on performance and scale.
- 1-2 years of experience in python will be preferred
