Software Engineer- On Site

The Job Overview

We are seeking an on-site full stack .NET developer to work with our existing software stack. You will design and create SQL tables, queries, stored procedures and front-end screens suitable for quickly and efficiently storing and retrieving relevant data. Your duties will include staying up-to-date with all relevant data security procedures and complying with all applicable data protection legislation.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects of IT team, comprised of yourself, Data Privacy Officer and IT Consultant
  • Work with IT team to understand needs, devise solutions and communicate with management in order that resources are appropriately allocated
• Maintenance and documentation of Company’s proprietary database
  • Design, develop and implement SQL DDL and Schemas supporting the software and project requirements.
  • Develop supporting front end applications supporting our business model and needs
  • Must have ability to quickly troubleshoot, diagnose and fix issues with functionality, performance and feature sets.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of the database and other system(s)
  • Support database manager with database questions, assisting with errors and issues that arise
• Along with DPO, be responsible for privacy and security
  • Tracking privacy requirements by state/country, share with management
  • Support company in the event of a ransomware or other attack, acting as a member of the emergency response team
  • Conduct annual privacy audit, review with DPO, corrective actions as needed
  • Review and provide input to Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to privacy and security
  • Along with DPO, ensure staff compliance with all applicable data privacy laws and regulations
• Responsible for IT services within Company
  • On-boarding and off-boarding staff from an IT perspective
  • Managing subscription services related to IT
    • Such as Zoom, Canva, MAXQDA, others
    • Advise on selection / training / troubleshooting of various software solutions, including those related to telehealth
  • Support project management and other staff as IT issues arise in their projects
    • Determining list counts, pulling / uploading lists, setting up SFTP sites, tracking of mass email campaigns
  • Work with database manager to ensure that Company website (WordPress) is operational and up to date
  • Troubleshoot IT problems as needed
    • Addressing question related to Microsoft products
