Software Engineer - Java

REMOTE Java Software Engineer position open in South Carolina for a full-time/direct hire Software Engineer with a 4 year college degree, who is interested in a 100% REMOTE role. This is an opportunity to work with an established enterprise-level organization and a highly-technical team of software developers. You can GROW your skills!
*Candidates must have a high technical aptitude with a Bachelors degree and must be able to drive to office located in Greenville, SC once a month. Visa sponsorship not available for this role.
Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years software development experience in an enterprise production environment
• Bachelors in Computer Science or other degree
• Ability to code in core Java, Spring, React or Angular, and SQL database
• Ability to pass a Java test in a coding exercise
• Excellent communication skills and ability to talk to the business about requirements for software applications

Desired Skills:

• Experience with any of these technologies:
  • Java web services (Jersey, etc)
  • Test driven development
  • Angular, React, Node.js, npm, yarn
  • REST architectures
  • Container technologies including docker, kubernetes and Helm
  • OWASP
  • Experience developing and/or supporting web applications
  • Understanding of Agile methodology
  • Knowledge of Linux
  • Programming experience with robotics
