Our client, the world's leading search engine and technology company, is seeking a Software Engineer. This is a 9 month + contract hybrid position located in Bellevue, WA.

- Seeking a Software Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- We are looking for a backend engineer who is enthusiastic in delivering solutions to new business use cases and addressing hard infrastructure problems.
- You will have the opportunity to work on a full modern client server stack: Boq/Java, Boq/goa, Oneplatform API, Spanner, FCM, blobstore to develop the domain expertise for building end-end backend solutions.
- Writing production, testing, and monitoring code.
- Code review and design reviews.
- Design, build and launch features in software products.
- Monitoring system health, resolving system issues or feature bugs.
- Triage issues and manage work backlog.
- Attending meetings, including project standups, design reviews, and team meetings.
Requirements:
- 4+ years post-secondary education in computer science engineering or equivalent i.e. bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years industry experience in production software development, distributed application backend.
- Backend, Production Systems, Monitoring, Java server framework, storage, Boq, Spanner.
- Prior experience building and running production backend services / platforms at scale.
- Focus on quality and problem solving.
- Ability to understand and improve systems end to end.
- Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.

Pay rate range: $81.61 - $104.72 hourly.
