Applied Materials' Technical Project Program Management Department is searching for an intern to join our team in summer 2024! We are looking for software developer who will be able to develop and support existing and new applications. The primary responsibilities will be to support the existing application with its UI and DB related improvements. The position will entail the following:
- Implement reusable, high-quality code, and libraries for future use which can be used across multiple projects keeping in mind modularity, scalability, and reusability.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Supporting and fixing bugs in existing functionality
- Help maintain code quality.
Requirements
- Student must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree program in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Student must be in good academic standing at their university, with a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale.
- Excellent knowledge in Basic Web Development Tools: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Familiarity in User Interface (UI): Bootstrap CSS
- Familiarity in Back-end Development: C#
- Proficient knowledge in Database: SQL
Compensation
$30 - 36 per hour
The rate offered to a selected candidate will be based on a number of factors including location and education level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
