Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we're looking to add a Software Engineer Intern located in our Austin, TX site.
Reporting to the Software Engineering Manager, the student will assist with daily engineering tasks while learning, collaborating and working alongside Engineers and cross-functional teams.
What a typical day looks like:

• Design, document, build and test new software applications
• Assess new application ideas
• Develop applications (coding, programming)
• Build a universal email-based approval system
• Support the Business Solutions Team with SQL reporting requests
• Build an open CV module for camera inspection for the site
• Attend team meetings and support project work as needed

Student qualities we're seeking for this internship assignment:

• Junior/Senior pursuing a degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), or Computer Science
• Web Development (Front End UI, Backend and Database)
• Strong Communication Skills (verbal and written), enjoys working in teams
• Organizational, Analytical, and Problem-Solving skills and Resourcefulness are a must
• Natural curiosity, "rolled-up sleeves" mentality, go-getter, likes to tinker with and fix things; not afraid to break things
• Integrity and genuine willingness to help
• Common skills: Testing and Debugging, Working with Hosting Published web sites, Visual Studio, Git, .NET MVC, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML, C#, Databases, e.g. SQL Server, SQL, Python, OpenCV

Internship Program Requirements:

• Available to start on May 28th and work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week Summer assignment
• Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
• 3.0 minimum GPA
