Job Summary

The Software Engineer I will work with technical teams to create software solutions that use prevailing technologies and improve the customers’ experience while adhering to business and technical requirements. Design and develop specific software subsystems under the guidance of senior Software Engineers.

As a SOFTWARE ENGINEER I o­­n THIS team…you’ll work with technical teams to create software solutions that use prevailing technologies and improve the customers’ experience while adhering to business and technical requirements. Design and develop specific software subsystems under the guidance of senior Software Engineers.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

• Experience:
  • Database management systems - 0-1
  • Coding, testing, and designing software - 0-1
  • Software development methodologies - 0-1

• Education:
  • BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of coding principles
  • Knowledge of one major programming language/tool
  • Knowledge of coding language and syntax, usage of functions and object-oriented patterns
  • Understanding of applicable technical systems and programming in a general sense
  • Showcases capability level work to their team

• Abilities:
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Ability to follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained and work on problems of limited scope
  • Ability to apply company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues

The pay for this position has a salary range of $67,100.00 to $107,300.00. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
