In this role you will be joining a team where our Software Engineers and architects are developing and maintaining next-generation ground system and related software. Our complex domain requires creative solutions to meet evolving customer needs.
We are seeking Software Engineering professionals to work onsite in our Aurora, CO location.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Develop software for cutting edge Satellite Ground Systems and related projects.
- Experience with the full software lifecycle including design, development, test, delivery, and maintenance.
- Exposure to various technologies and techniques including multi-tiered architectures, Amazon Web Services (AWS)web services, microservice software design, and modern development, security, and operations (DevSecOps) development practices.
- Ability to work onsite/in the SCIF. Flexible work schedules available. 5/40, 9/80, 4/10.
Basic Qualifications:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of Software Engineering experience.
- Experience using Java or C++
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile development and Software Engineering processes and best practices.
- Proficiency with multiple Software development object-oriented (OO) analysis, design and/or full stack development
- Experience working within LINUX/UNIX operating systems.
- Experience with microservice architecture using Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with combination of software development and operations DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Development
- Experience with one or more areas of Satellite Ground system software such as mission management, planning and scheduling, command and telemetry, satellite operations, or flight dynamics models.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
