Job Description:

Your way to impact:

• Be a team player and work with a dynamic and creative team.

• Write code which may impact hundreds of merchants.

• Fix issues and help the merchants to be successful in the integration.

Your day to day:

• You will be part of the team to understand the business requirements and asking questions to our product counterpart.

• Implement a function or write a test case for a function in Java.

• Make sure the code passes the CI/CD pipeline and has a high percentage of test coverage.

• Troubleshoot a bug with our customer success team and submit a code fix together with the test cases for review.

• Be oncall and talk with our internal customers and review tickets opened by our merchants.

What do you need to bring:

• 6 months+ Part-time or Full-time experiences in large enterprises, preferrable fin-tech industry.

• Bachelor Degree or above in Computer Science related major.

• Familiar with PayPal’s business model and how the two-sided network works.

• Ability to collaborate with senior engineers to design, develop, and maintain software applications.

• Can write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using industry best practices.

• Participated in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability of software applications.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in software development.

• Knowledge of PayPal backend technical stack, account structures and troubleshooting tools is a plus.
