SUMMARY
As a Software Engineer at Irwin, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications for the enterprise. Working closely within a small team of skilled developers, you will collaborate with internal clients to deliver software solutions that meet their specific needs.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop Software:
o Utilize Human-Centered Design techniques to develop user-friendly software.
Applications.
o Implement and maintain software solutions that align with business objectives.
· CI/CD Deployment:
o Develop and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
Deployment pipelines.
o Implement industry-standard strategies for version control and branch management.
· Architecture and Planning:
o Provide support for architecture and development planning.
o Contribute to scoping, scheduling, and managing work effectively.
· Continuous Learning:
o Engage in continuous learning and personal development to enhance skills.
o Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Essential skills and experience:
· Data integrations:
o Experience with Data integrations across API, file imports, and ODBC connections.
· Programming:
o At least 2 years of experience using C#, CSS, and JavaScript
o Some experience with .NET Core and Blazor is a plus.
· Business systems integrations:
o Expertise in connecting business systems including ERP, CPQ, and CRM using middleware & data integration. SQL and data management knowledge essential.
· DevOps and Version Control:
o Experience with Azure DevOps and Git.
· Agile methodologies:
o Understands and utilizes Kanban and Scrum methodologies as appropriate.
· Transparency:
o Passionate about making work visible with our team and stakeholders.
EDUCATION
Prefer bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science or equivalent experience.
