Grainger Corporate Services LLCis seeking a Software Engineer in Lake Forest, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or related field plus 3 years related experience. Prior experience must include: Involve in meetings with product owners and team members to gather and analyze requirements to create user stories, provide timelines and develop applications for customers & State Farm agents/ATM’s/CCC representatives; Create merge requests for every change following the git branching strategy where every change will have a possibility to revert in required situations. Use Cherry pick options from Git to merge selected changes from a merge request; Developed RESTFUL web services using J2EE to handle JSON requests from Salesforce and integrate the webservices with other web services to process customer information provided by agents, agents team members and customer care executives in ECRM; Migrate existing visualforce pages and apex classes to lightning web components (LWC). Include any new enhancements in LWC development; Developed unit test cases to test code functionality at unit level, meet code quality and mutation also perform BDD testing as per business scenario; Migrate legacy components to latest technology as part of modernization of enterprise applications, to increase the efficiency and save customers time while buying policies or getting service for existing policies from State Farm; Perform code reviews to verify the quality of code, provide comments, ensure that enterprise level coding standards are practiced; Identify, prioritize bugs in ECRM apps based on factors like business value, risk, dependencies and review, debug and fix them.
