Develop, implement and validate math-based and physics-based algorithms for conventional ICE passenger vehicle and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) ASIL-D safety-critical Electronic Transmission Range Select (ETRS) feature and 10+ rings in embedded Vehicle Integration Control Module (VICM), using MATLAB and Simulink models, in Embedded C programming language, using Git, IBM Rational Rhapsody, Model Development Kit, Gerrit, Jenkins, ETAS INCA, ETAS MDA, and Artifactory tools, following SAFe methodology, for current and future model year vehicle programs, and U.S. and global markets. Design, validate, and release ETRS control strategies. Create Algorithm Failure Mode & Effects Analysis for rings in ETRS including Driver Transmission Range Request and Transmission Range Command Rings, and ETRS Shifter Decoder & Button Correlation Diagnostic rings. Design and develop software for ETRS, following MISRA-C standards, using control algorithms including linear and nonlinear System Control, Feedback and FeedForward Control, Adaptive Control, Optimal Control, in C programming language, using Eclipse IDE, MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow tools. Remote: This option does not require employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. The employee’s role enables them to work off-site on a permanent basis.
Additional Description
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, and one (1) year of experience as an Engineer, or related role. Must also have experience with: defining requirements, and developing software for module, feature, or calibrations using advanced control algorithms including linear and nonlinear System Control, Feedback and Feedforward Control, Adaptive Control, Optimal Control, in C programming language, and MATLAB and Simulink tools.
