About The Information Technology Department:
The Information Technology (IT) Division works collaboratively with all PUCO departments to identify, procure and support information technology solutions necessary to perform the mission critical business functions of the PUCO. IT subject matter experts: maintain more than 50 business applications: plan, design, build and deploy new IT solutions; provide support for phones, tablets, laptops, desktops and printers; maintain production systems; and manage PUCO’s websites and webcasting activities. In addition, the IT division coordinates infrastructure support and IT security services with the Department of Administrative Services (DAS) and the Office of Information Technology (OIT).
What You'll Do:
In this position as an Software Development Specialist 3your primary duties will be:
- Create & maintain Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings
- Create & manage sandbox environment
- Identify and gather requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience
- Identify unused or underutilized platform features
- Create a platform roadmap and define priorities, liaising with stakeholders
- Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer
- DevOps/release management experience
- Assisting with requirements gathering, design and development
- Creating test cases or test scripts for unit testing
- Performing production support for IT systems
- Leading focused discussions on technical topics
- Leading & guiding junior developers
- Reading/Creating technical system documents
- Communicating and collaborating within different sections of IT and business area
- Additional duties as assigned.
