Job Overview:
The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is seeking a Software Development professional to be part of ODM's Application Development Team. As a Senior Salesforce Developer, your responsibilities will include:
working with Application Development staff and stakeholders to provide overall direction, guidance, definition, and facilitation for the advancement of Software Development solutions required to meet business strategies and goals
developing customized high quality business solutions within the Salesforce CRM platform
participating in all aspects of the project life cycle (e.g., initial kickoff through the requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and postproduction support of the application)
ensuring current and/or future business process flows are defined and documented
conducting detailed alternative analyses and determines end-user requirement(s)
consulting with end-users, technicians, vendors, management, and others
leading and/or participating in architecture and technical design sessions

- Or completion of associate core program in computer science or information systems; 42 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: providing solutions design, developing project plans with project manager or recommending approach through defining tasks and/or leading meetings relating to programs for computer applications including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology as specified by the agency position description & job posting.
- Or completion of undergraduate core program in computer science or information systems; 36 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: providing solutions design, developing project plans with project manager or recommending approach through defining tasks and/or leading meetings relating to programs for computer applications including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology as specified by the agency position description & job posting.
- Or equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above. Supplemental Information:
On call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Required to carry a cellular phone as assigned. Required to work occasional overtime as assigned.
