Job Description - Front-end Developer in Test (React)
Summary:
Adobe has successfully transformed from a traditional desktop software vendor to software as a service provider. The Creative Cloud and Document Cloud are great demonstrations of this transformation, and of our vision for how we can continue to provide even more delight to our customers. As our product and service offerings have evolved and expanded, we have also needed to transform the online purchasing experiences we provide for our customers, along with our underlying eCommerce infrastructure.
We are looking for a dedicated, passionate engineer who is interested in building the next generation of blazingly fast, responsive web applications and supporting services for subscription management and purchasing, covering a wide variety of products, plans, promotions, purchase methods, and geographies, for Creative Cloud, Document Cloud, and a host of other Adobe products and services. You will deliver critical components and services to be used by a variety of clients, enabling flexible and rapidly optimizable sign-up and purchase workflows.

• BS in Computer Science or related field of study.
• 7 of years of professional software product/service development experience.
• 4 or more years of professional experience doing web application or full-stack Cloud/SaaS/Web Services development.
• Web application testing Full-stack Cloud, SaaS and Web Services development • Testing cross-browser compatible front-end web experiences

• Awareness of web performance considerations.
• Demonstrated design and UX sensibilities.
• Proven experience collaborating across local and remote teams to build web apps at scale
• Experience writing functional tests and test frameworks, such as Jasmine, Mocha, and Jest.
• Proven ability to develop robust, efficient, high-quality code.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $101,500 -- $194,300 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure quality around web-based user interfaces and cloud services;
- Participate in all aspects of Software Development activities, including design, automation, code review, manual testing, bug fixing, and test plan documentation;
- Work closely with Product Owners, UX designers, Architects, Developers, Quality Engineers, and other key partners, to deliver functionality that helps solidify and grow our global customer base;
- Participate in story mapping, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews on a two-week cadence;
- Review each other's work and hold team members accountable for high code quality standards;
- Deliver regular increments of potentially shippable functionality on time with high quality;
- Have substantial ownership. You'll be involved in important decisions about how we build and grow Acrobat Web, and have a strong say in what we build next;
- Be a leader. Engage your peers, mentor junior team members, build partnerships with key partners across the matrix to achieve shared objectives'
- Write readable, performant, bug-free code;
- Look for ways to continually improve the product and process; and
- Work effectively in a dynamic and ever-evolving environment.
