QUALIFICATIONS
- A Bachelor’s degree in Software Development or related field is preferred; or equivalent work related technical experience
- 3+ Years of User Interface development
- 3+ Years of experience in application development using Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 or newer
- Strong knowledge in Azure Cloud services including blob storage, key vaults, writing and consuming APIs, app registrations and Azure SQL
- Strong knowledge in GitHub, GitHub Actions and NUnit for CI/CD
- Strong knowledge of VB.NET, .NET and C# and Blazor, knowledge of other programming languages is a plus
- Working knowledge of object-orientated programming and design including extensive use of objects and inheritance a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or newer and Transact SQL
- Working knowledge of Epicor ERP a plus
- Working knowledge of COM components a plus
- Working knowledge of third party API integrations a plus
- Experience with deploying applications a plus
- Experience with graphics engines (such as AutoCAD or VectorDraw), engineering or drafting in the wood construction industry a plus
- Strong desire for technical ownership and accountability for a project
- Enthusiasm for hands-on end to end development in a dynamic, agile environment
- Work well with a team of developers and users

Responsibilities:
This position will be a key member of our development team and play a key role in the development and maintenance of point of sale, productivity and business applications vital to the long term success of Lester. We are looking for a full stack developer to work with our suite of legacy VB.NET applications to modernize and build the next generation of applications.
- Design, develop, test and deployment of new features and the maintenance of existing applications
- Help guide application design to provide the optimal user experience
- Make recommendations to improve existing systems by using new methods and technology
- Work with development team and users to design, test, deploy and debug software and data changes
- Develop and maintain user interfaces, databases, and reports
- Test to ensure compliance with specifications and requirements
