Form of workAs a Software Engineer for Robotics AI-enabling applications, you will be responsible for:
• Engineering solutions to complex integration-intensive operational environments by exploring Realtime Human-in-the-Loop AI technology to new fulfillment environments.
• Collaborating with multiple teams from laboratory to operational settings.
• Operating across the stack to design and build fault-tolerant distributed systems that optimize our fleet of fulfillment infrastructure and robots.
• Translating business and functional requirements into deliverable software and customer experience while measuring impact of your solutions.
• Develop tools to test and analyze complex systems, including those deployed in production, and dig into critical pieces of distributed systems like logging, tracing, metrics.

The Global Operations AI Research and Development team spearheads bringing realtime human-in-the-loop systems to automation and robotic technologies in operational environments. We experiment, measure impact, and deliver novel uses for HITL systems in challenging environments for AI by providing annotations within seconds to alter automation workflows. We speed new automation technologies by enabling less-than-perfect ML models with realtime HITL.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
