Hours: Dayshift 9/80’s
Travel: Potentially but limited
Per Diem: Yes, open to candidates outside of NM for relocation
Must Haves:
- Position requires a relevant bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of software development languages, database design, and component integration, understanding of SCRUM and Agile methodologies, diagnostic problem solving and effective communication. Will need to work with both internal information technology team and stakeholders.
- Ability to be obtain Q clearance
Description:
- Working as part of the PMRC-IT team, supports software applications and systems by investigating, designing, documenting and implementing new hardware and software. Works with customers and end users to understand requirements, coordinate resources, monitor timeline, and plan, track, and execute project plan. Analyzes user requirements and evaluates work processes. Prepares concepts for information system solutions and evaluates the cost-effectiveness of these concepts. Developing professional expertise, applies policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Can use and apply standard principles, theories, concepts and techniques as recognized within a specific information technology (IT) field. Provides resolutions to an assortment of problems of moderately complex scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Contributes to the fulfillment of projects and organizational objectives. Closely supervised and follows established procedures. Receives detailed instructions on new projects or assignments. Work is reviewed for accuracy, soundness of judgments and overall adequacy. Work may be reviewed while in progress. Uses judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action. Receives direction and oversight from Senior Level Software Developers.
- Education: Position typically requires a relevant bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies, tools and processes, including software development methodology framework source code control, application development tools and techniques, database design, development and management, programming languages, and component integration.
- Basic Knowledge of hardware and operating systems including system architectures, network infrastructures, and client server principles.
- Basic Knowledge of hardware and software integration and testing. Ability to partner with customers.
- Ability to review and understand end-to-end work processes.
- Ability to translate technical terms to layperson's terms and present them to non-technical audiences.
- Skill in working closely with customers and suppliers to define expectations and mutual responsibilities.
