WSTF is regulated by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), New Mexico Environment Department (NMED), Federal Executive Orders, and NASA agency environmental policy and guidelines. WSTF is a Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA)-permitted facility with significant environmental monitoring, remediation, and reporting obligations that require comprehensive field investigations, information/data generation and management, and regulatory compliance and reporting.Position Summary:+ Responsible for the strategic planning, analysis, development, architecture, test, implementation, documentation and maintenance of the Environmental Information Management System (EIMS) at the NASA White Sands Test Facility (WSTF).+ Full Stack Developer to produce scalable software solutions.
Should be comfortable with front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries.Job Responsibilities+ Provide site-wide consultation as a top-level contributor/specialist for Information Technology (IT) inclusion. This includes strategic planning and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure the technology and information literacy (locate, evaluate and report) meets need and requirements efficiently.+ Migrate the Environmental Information Management System (EIMS) to a web-based system+ Oversee project plans, schedules and human resource management during product roll-out.+ Organize and conduct training sessions with users+ Other responsibilities include:+ Providing a communication bridge between site contractors to improve efficiency for common processes.+ Advising project leads on software adaptation for existing processes by disseminating current technology trends related to the operations and compliance of contracts.+ Design client-side and server-side architecture+ Test software and APIs for vulnerability before releasing to production + Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design+ Assume leadership of new projects, from conceptualization to deployment+ Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications+ Write effective APIs+ Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software+ Write technical documentationRequirements+ Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role+ Experience developing Desktop and Web applications+ Knowledge on front-end languages and libraries (Optional: DevExpress Library) + Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (C#, VBA) and JavaScript frameworks+ Familiarity with databases (SQL Microsoft Server) and T-SQL query language+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills+ Great attention to detail+ Organizational skills+ Analytical skills+ Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or engineeringDue to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.Navarro is an equal-opportunity employer.
