POSITION SUMMARY:
Our Redmond-based client is looking for a Software Database Engineer for a remote-based position.

• Meeting with business stakeholders and business requirements owners to understand those requirements..
• Designs architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces
• Ensures these systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for agency IT architectures, and profiles of standards as they apply to the implementation and specific to the solution for the platform, integration with other systems, and the external interfaces
• Ensures that the common operating environment is compliant. Evaluates analytically and systematically problems of workflows, organization, and planning and develops appropriate corrective action
• Provides daily supervision and direction to staff.

• Must have 10 Years of Experience in Data Analysis and Data Modelling and Data transformation
• Must have 5+ Years with Data Lake experience and Data Lake architecture.
• Must have experience with driving technical planning and solutions for small software portfolio, including authoring or managing the development of software designs, managing vendor evaluations, and justifying technical recommendations.
• Should have experience and expertise with Fabric (Nice to have)
• Should have experience working with machine learning models (nice to have)
• Should have experience with broad technology delivery, including custom development using various development languages
• Experience with providing technical leadership, mentoring on software engineering design, development, and frameworks, analyzing alternatives, and presenting technical options to leads and clients
• Experience with driving technical planning and solutions for small software portfolio, including authoring or managing the development of software designs, managing vendor evaluations, and justifying technical recommendations
• Should have the ability to apply fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments.

• A competitive pay range of $95/hr- $107/hr (depending on experience).
• 15 days per year of Paid Time Off (PTO).
