Social Media and Marketing Coordinator
General Purpose Statement
The Social Media and Marketing Coordinator is responsible for collaborating on the creation and implementation for the marketing strategies laid out by the Public Relations and Marketing teams for all of the Aspen Art Museum's programs and exhibitions. Responsible for creating engaging multi-media content that will help distinguish the Aspen Art Museum and maintaining the archive for the department.
Reporting Relationships
This role reports to the Marketing and Communications Manager. The Social Media and Marketing Coordinator also works closely with the Public Relations Firm, the various departments that rely on social media and advertisements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, implementation, and AAM's Marketing and Public Relations Plan.
• Work with the Marketing and Communications Manager to implement any graphic design-related projects.
• Provide general clerical and technical assistance, including but not limited to scheduled technical maintenance, filming, audio recording, and copywriting.
• Research audience preferences and discover current trends.
• Create engaging text, image, and video content by attending AAM events.
• Create posts for social media networks and outlets, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, etc.
• Report on analytics from social media and research media coverage and industry trends.
• Assist in creating website pages and educational materials/collateral for all programming.
• Photograph AAM events to create content for all social media channels.
• Coordinate the recording and editing of all lectures and talks for archival and promotional purposes.
• Coordinate with Aspen Public Radio, KDNK, and other community partners to disseminate recordings of lectures and talks.
• As needed, design AAM newsletter, website content, Rooftop Café signage, and other content for projects as assigned as supervised by the Marketing and Communications Manager.
• Assume ownership of Bloomberg App updates and coordinate translation of said text, upload content, and images to the app.
• Coordinate the distribution of AAM marketing materials throughout the Roaring Fork Valley and beyond.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Expert knowledge of Adobe Suite and aGoogle Business Suite.
• Expertise in multiple social media platforms.
• Proven work experience as a Social Media Coordinator.
• In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics.
• Experience in graphic design.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver results while managing multiple projects.
• Demonstrated organizational and task management skills.
• Dependability, flexibility, and adaptability, in a dynamic event-driven environment.
• Ability to work positively with colleagues, artists, the public, Board of Trustees, donors, and volunteers.
• Proficiency in standard computer applications and proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Intermediate HTML knowledge.
• Intermediate use of DSLR camera, including basic lighting & audio recording.
• Spanish language proficiency is desirable.

Requirements and Qualifications
BA degree from an accredited college or university and at least 2 year of relevant work experience, or any other combination of experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
Salary and Benefits
The hourly wage for this position is between $27.00 to $30.00. Aspen Art Museum offers a competitive package of benefits. Including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, and generous paid time off policies.
Location
This position is located in Aspen, Colorado.
Hours and Work Schedule
This is a non-exempt hourly position requiring availability during weekdays with the occasional weekend, evening, and holiday work.
