Communications Leader - Social Media

Work Mode: Remote

Opportunity

As a Communications Leader - Social Media for Kohler Energy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our online presence and ensuring that our brand resonates with our target audience. You will be responsible for creating and implementing comprehensive Social Media strategies that align with our business goals.  You create a new B2B Social Media for Kohler Energy and work with the marketing team of our businesses to coordinate the presence of our different businesses, your passion for Social Media, creativity, and analytical skills in the B2B space will be crucial in driving our success.

Specific Responsibilities

Develop and execute a cohesive Social Media strategy to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, and engage our target audience across platforms (e.g., Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).  Important focus on LinkedIn because if the strong B2B nature of our businesses.
Work closely with businesses to define clear strategies by audience (ie: Home Energy and dealers, KPS and engineers and datacenters, Engines and OEMs, etc.).
Audit the inventory of Energy social handles and provide strategic recommendation on the right numbers and on immediate steps to improve attribution to Kohler Energy (ie: naming).
Work with businesses to define the right numbers of handles and to make sure they all contribute to building the Kohler Energy brand.
Create a new Kohler Energy corporate handle on priority social networks.
Work closely with agencies and businesses to create compelling and relevant content, including posts, images, videos, and infographics, that align with our brand identity and resonate with our audience.
Drive quality and frequency of content by working with agencies to create and with the businesses to curate.
Work with Energy senior leadership and agency to improve their Social Media presence on LinkedIn, starting with Energy Group President.
Implement a way to conduct social monitoring and responding appropriately to some messages.
Build and nurture our online community by actively responding to comments, messages, and inquiries, fostering meaningful interactions, and addressing customer concerns promptly.
Monitor Social Media performance using analytics tools and generate regular reports to measure the effectiveness of campaigns, track key metrics, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.  Create a Social Media dashboard.
Plan and execute Social Media advertising campaigns, including budget management, audience targeting, and performance analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, communications content, and design, to ensure consistent brand messaging and align Social Media efforts with broader marketing initiatives.
Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive activity, emerging Social Media platforms, and best practices to recommend and implement new strategies.


Skills/Requirements

Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of Social Media platforms, trends, and tools.
Strong copywriting and creative skills with an eye for detail.
Proficiency in Social Media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Google Analytics).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to work independently (real self-starter) and in a team.
Demonstrated ability to drive engagement and growth on Social Media platforms.

The salary range for this position is $68,000 - $85,650. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
