Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Social Media Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will create engaging content to generate interest and build awareness of our brand. Your responsibilities will include researching current trends, monitoring Social Media channels, and communicating with existing and potential customers via those channels. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, with excellent written communication skills and a passion for Social Media. You will create and design in store marketing materials, visit stores to gather content, attend & promote company events.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research on popular and emerging trends
- Discover audience preferences
- Create written, video, and image content for a variety of Social Media platforms designed to create buzz and pique interest
- Monitor and report on web traffic and search engine optimization results and refine Social Media strategies based on the findings
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all Social Media platforms and updates
- Educate colleagues on best practices in Social Media
- Respond to customer comments, questions, and concerns submitted via Social Media in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Marketing or a related field
- Previous experience as a Social Media Coordinator is preferred
- Familiarity with all major Social Media platforms
- Understanding of search engine optimization strategies, keyword research, Google Analytics, and WordPress
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to create high volumes of engaging content
- Understanding of best practices in online/ in store marketing and Social Media Marketing
