Responsibilities
•Responsible for planning, creating, coordinating, implementing, administering, and monitoring all social, web, and digital marketing campaigns, and platforms. This includes strategy, content development, creative development, analytics, and reporting.
•Manages media strategy, campaigns, and day to day activities. Duties include online advocacy, making sure online editorial is timely, community outreach efforts, promotions, etc.
•Coordinates the scheduling, processing, routing, and trafficking of all print and digital advertising and daily Social Media posts to all applicable Social Media outlets.
•Monitor trends in publication and Social Media tools and applications and appropriately apply that knowledge to increasing the use of Social Media.
•Experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage media activities; Angel of The Winds is always one step ahead of the curve.
•Work closely with internal departments to develop engaging content to elevate brand and increase business.
•Facilitate and monitor all networking conversations (community management) to ensure they meet brand guidelines and are addressed within 24 hours or less.
•Monitor Angel of The Winds' website on a daily basis, to ensure all copy and content is updated and accurate. Provide recommendations regarding web updates, upgrades, and functionality.
•Attend all Team Member and Guest facing events to capture relevant and engaging social content.
•Interacts with team members and management to ensure complete understanding, execution, and selling points of all promotions and events.
•Support the marketing department by helping with editing, proofreading, printing, distributing and processing projects and/or signage.
•Ensure compliance with Tribal, State, Federal, and NIGC regulations.
•Ensure control/protection of company assets.
•Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
•Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
•Exceptional guest service skills required.
•AA Degree in Marketing, Business, or Advertising and at least four years' experience in a casino setting and at least one year in web and Social Media marketing, advertising, or public relations; and/or combination of education and work experience.
•Must be proficient with a DSLR camera.
•Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Pay Per Click (PPC) experience preferred.
•Minimum four (4) years' experience working with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the Internet; as well as other databases, and demonstrated effective email communication.
•Proven ability to effectively communicate in a group setting; public speaking experience preferred.
•Must have a proven ability for social content creation (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TripAdvisor, YELP, etc.)
•Strong public relations background preferred.
•Must be highly creative and have an eye for detail. Copywriting experience preferred.
•Must be able to work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
•Must possess strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
•Demonstrated experience determining market trends, competition, potential markets, and recommending methods to expand and develop marketing operations within the gaming industry.
•Demonstrated experience in developing, organizing, and completing projects within budget and time constraints. Proven problem-solving, organizational and multitasking skills are essential.
•Skill in identifying and resolving administrative problems under pressure conditions. Ability to work well with multiple projects under tight deadlines in a professional manner and in an unsupervised atmosphere.
•Must be customer service oriented and have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to multi-task.
•Ability to maintain professional, courteous, and effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and outside business contacts.
•Casino experience preferred.
•Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Certificates, Licenses, Regulations
•Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class A gaming license from the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Constantly requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication. The position requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires repetitive movement daily with sedentary work, occasional bending and crouching. This is a 24 hour, 7 days a week work operation.
