SalaryGENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Social Media Coordinator has the primary responsibility for the planning, development, and implementation of the Social Media communications of New Vintage Church and has direct oversight of the Social Media accounts. Key Functions include strategic development, system implementation and ongoing management.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage direct messages in a timely manner on facebook, instagram, and other potential Social Media platforms.
- Create and post promotional/inspirational/educational content for various events and ministries.
- Responsible for creating Sunday recap videos and sermon clips.
- Coordinate with direct report on a regular basis to stay up to date on any changes with schedule, strategy, and/or upcoming events.
- Develop an ongoing Social Media calendar.
- Develop best practices for growth and development.
WEEKEND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Social Media Coordinator is responsible to attend at least one weekend service unless communicated with direct report.
- If gone on a weekend, the coordinator is responsible for building a team and scheduling other volunteers to help with Social Media.
Qualifications/Expectations:
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Video editing skills preferred.
- Willingness to represent the church in accordance with the vision set forth by the Lead Pastor
- Ensure any communication, whether personal or professional, is representing the church and must be done in a way that aligns with the church's beliefs and represents the church well.
- Represent a growing personal relationship with Christ.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 12 per week
