Overview:

Maverick is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about digital marketing and Social Media, eager to contribute to our brand's online presence and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute a results-driven Social Media strategy.
• Develop and curate engaging content for Social Media platforms.
• Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
• Attend events and produce live Social Media content.
• Maintain unified brand voice across different Social Media channels.
• Collaborate with marketing team to create & maintain a Social Media calendar.
• Monitor Social Media channels for industry trends.
• Interact with users and respond to Social Media messages, inquiries, and comments.
• Review analytics and create reports on key metrics.
• Assist in the development and management of Social Media marketing and influencer marketing strategy.
• Occasionally use camera equipment for content creation and be comfortable appearing on camera for brand promotion and engagement activities.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Passion for Social Media and proficiency with major Social Media platforms and Social Media management tools
• Prior experience with marketing or Social Media.
• Proficiency with video and photo editing tools, digital media formats, and HTML
• Excellent social listening skills
• Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and Social Media space
• Strong copywriting and copy editing skills
• Top-notch oral and verbal communication skills
• Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask
• Knowledge of analytical tools.
• Ability to work in a team.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Pursuing or recently graduated in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience with professional design/editing Tools (Photoshop, Final Cut/Premiere Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools a plus

Work Environment:

This position is primarily remote, with occasional in-office attendance required for content creation, collaboration, and other key activities. This setup allows for the convenience of working from home while still fostering a connected and collaborative office experience when needed.
