As a Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts while promoting brand awareness.. You will have the opportunity to develop compelling social content, as well as content such as graphics and articles, to distribute across Barrett-Jackson's Social Media platforms. Passionate about the ever-evolving Social Media world and always on top of new social trends, products and platforms. Ability to bring new ideas to create additional engagement across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with various departments to create, copy-edit and post content for Barrett-Jackson's official pages on social Media with a unique voice for each platform. Assist with the creation and editing of written, video and photo content.
- Attend events and produce live Social Media content as required
- Assists in Develop and executing a digital marketing plan for each auction, working with the marketing team to create campaigns for Consignment, Gate, & Bidders
- Maintain Barrett-Jackson's unified brand voice across different Social Media channels including, but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Tik Tok and LinkedIn.
- Proven track record of developing successful campaigns and strategies that increase brand awareness and boost customer engagement
- Works with internal team to develop and implement social content campaigns and calendar.
- Proactively interacts, engages and communicates with fans across all social platforms
- Monitors social analytics and KPI's to guide strategy and best practices, and implement strategy to grow performance
- Monitor influencer channels for sharable content, and identifies opportunities for user-generated content
- Uses Social Media to increase brand recognition for the organization, improve value perception
- Stays current with Social Media landscape, marketing and communication methods and other trends, and adapts approaches as needed to stay attractive and relevant with participants, fans, sponsors and donors - including a focus on reaching the next generation of the sport
- Works with the marketing team to understand and develop a photo cataloging system
- Works with sales and sponsorship team to understand and facilitate all social and digital obligations and report back engagement metrics. Acts as vital customer service arm of organization by responding to member and non-member requests and questions on social in a timely and accurate manner
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience posting content to Social Media platforms for a brand, including usage of tools such as Sprout Social, Later or relatble products
- Travel to events is a must
- Understanding of SEO and Social Media web traffic KPI's
- Excellent multi-taking skills
- Critical thinker and ability to think outside the box
- Experience in creating content for new and emerging Social Media platforms.
- Willing to work and post as needed during extended and irregular hours
- Ability to adapt content for multiple platforms (Posts, Stories, Reels, TikTok)
- Work with a team to achieve goals on a constantly moving deadline and turning around content in a fast-paced environment
- Team player
- Capacity to manage/backup your media on a Media Server as you work
- Knowledge of automotive industry, automobiles and collector vehicles a plus
