About the Job
As a Social Media and E-commerce Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving brand awareness, engagement, and sales through our e-commerce channels. You will be responsible for content ideation and creation for Social Media, developing and implementing strategies to enhance our online presence, attract new customers, and optimize conversions. This position requires a creative and analytical mindset.
The ideal candidate is a creative content creator, an excellent communicator, and an expert in Social Media trends and e-commerce best practices.
Social media Management & Execution
- Develop and execute comprehensive Social Media strategies to increase brand visibility, engagement, and conversion rates across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Create and curate engaging content, including images, videos, and written copy, tailored to each platform and target audience.
- Create engaging and compelling on-camera content serving as the brand spokesperson on our Social Media accounts.
- Monitor Social Media channels for trends, customer feedback, and leverage insights to inform strategy adjustments.
- Foster and maintain relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors, and other relevant stakeholders to expand reach and drive collaboration opportunities.
- Analyze key performance metrics and provide regular reports and actionable insights to optimize performance.
- Actively engage with our audience in Social Media, and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries.
- Foster meaningful interactions, build relationships with followers, and cultivate a sense of community.
- Develop strategies to encourage user-generated content.
E-commerce
- Oversee our e-commerce platform and sales channels, including managing website and product listings.
- Implement SEO strategies to improve search rankings, organic traffic, and online visibility.
- Conduct A/B testing and optimization experiments to improve website conversion rates, user experience, and customer retention.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in e-commerce, and propose innovative solutions to enhance our online shopping experience.
- Implement strategies to increase customer retention, loyalty, and lifetime value through personalized communication, promotions, and loyalty programs.
- Manage and create direct-to-consumer email marketing campaigns.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience of 4+ years in Social Media management, content creation, and e-commerce operations, preferably within the apparel or fashion industry.
- On-camera relevant content creation experience.
- Possess a deep understanding of college sports.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, preferably Shopify.
- Proficiency in analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and Hootsuite Analytics to track and measure campaign performance.
- Experience with graphic design tools (Adobe Photoshop, Canva).
This job involves traveling for 15% of the year.
