Our client, the leading professional HAIR COLOR brand in the U.S., is seeking a passionate and creative Social and Community Manager, Hair Color to join their dynamic team!
As a Social and Community Manager, you will be responsible for managing brand social media channels, building relationships with the stylist community, copywriting, aiding in content creation efforts, and supporting additional digital activities as needed. If you have a background in hairstyling and a love for social media, this could be the perfect opportunity for you to showcase your skills and make a significant impact in the beauty industry.
Responsibilities:
- Post, monitor & engage with the community on social channel & other global social channels.
- Write copy/captions and develop community responses.
- Lead monthly editorial calendar development, source user-generated content, and ensure delivery in a timely manner.
- Respond to questions and comments across all social channels in a quick & timely manner with ability to spot potential a crisis.
- Build relationships with HAIR COLOR influencers & advocates through community outreach, product send outs, and new stylist identification.
- Monitor, analyze & report on channel performance to create insights and help inform and optimize content strategy.
- Collaborate & align with other countries' social managers to ensure launches, events and partnerships are supported on social.
- Generate competitive reports & engage in competitive outreach.
- Engage in social listening to identify and act on trends.
- Support digital lead on additional digital media-related requests, including but not limited to: channel management process and workflows, channel & post innovation, creative input, and support on launch plans.
Qualifications:
- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Education: Bachelors
- Current or previous certification as a hairstylist.
- Availability to work 15-40 hours per week, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Some experience in social media management, preferably within the beauty or fashion industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- strong creative eye for curating engaging social platforms.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and proactive attitude.
- Enthusiasm for SOCIAL AND digital media, with a keen eye for trends.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally.
