The ITS Information Security and Privacy Office is responsible for protecting the FSU community and infrastructure from cyberattacks. The university houses an abundance of critical and sensitive information, and the safeguarding of this data and the technical infrastructure behind it is vital to the viability and success of FSU.
ResponsibilitiesPrepares and delivers instructional presentations, write white papers on security/privacy topics; Manage projects for implementation and migration to new security technologies and services. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Educates users about network and data security policies and consults campus units on IT security issues. Supports the moderation for information technology security lists, listservs, team sites, etc.
Performs duties in compliance with ITS policies, guidelines, and processes pertaining to support requests, work orders, project management, change management, and incident management. Appropriately utilizes associated tools in accordance with ITS standards.
QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalency and three years experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to three years.
