Job Title: Snowflake Architect

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Architect with 7-8 years of experience, particularly within the banking sector, to join our team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Snowflake architecture and hands-on experience in designing and implementing data solutions for banking and financial services organizations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the design and implementation of Snowflake-based data platforms that drive business value and innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Architect end-to-end data solutions on the Snowflake platform to meet the needs of banking and financial services clients.
- Lead the design and development of scalable and performant data models, ETL pipelines, and data warehouses.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and data scientists to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Define data governance and security policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Optimize Snowflake performance by tuning queries, optimizing data storage, and implementing best practices for data loading and transformation.
- Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and best practices for Snowflake architecture and data engineering processes.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful project delivery.
- Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in Snowflake architecture, cloud computing, and banking technology.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 7-8 years of experience in data architecture and engineering, with a focus on Snowflake.
- Proven experience architecting and implementing data solutions for banking or financial services organizations.
- Expertise in Snowflake architecture, including data warehouse design, performance optimization, and security.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL tools and techniques.
- Experience working with cloud platforms, particularly AWS or Azure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Relevant certifications in Snowflake or cloud computing are a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: Up to $55.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
