Our Torq Insights practice is seeking talented individuals to join as key contributors, specializing as a Snowflake Architect, where you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines in Snowflake. Your expertise will contribute to shaping a robust data infrastructure, empowering seamless data management, and driving data-driven decision-making.
- Architect, optimize, and maintain robust data pipelines for seamless integration into Snowflake, shaping a resilient data infrastructure for informed decision-making.
- Expertise in Data Migration to Snowflake, offering hands-on support to developers to overcome technical challenges and ensure the successful implementation of Snowflake.
- Develop and maintain complex data transformation rules using Snowflake and related tools, including data validation, cleansing, and enrichment, to enhance data quality and integrity.
- Work closely with data analysts and stakeholders, translating requirements into actionable technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and accessibility.
- Implement industry best practices and Snowflake's advanced features to optimize performance, scalability, and security within the data infrastructure.
- Willingness to work a hybrid schedule, where the candidate will be required to work 2-3 days in the office each week.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Information Management, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or related discipline.
- 5+ years’ experience with Snowflake and related technology stack, ETL/ELT, and database administration
- 3+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience in development, modeling, and architecture.
- Should have familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Ability to manage in an environment of ambiguity with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and conceptual problem-solving skills.
- Experience with SQL or other querying languages.
- Knowledge of Snowflake's security features, including data encryption, access controls, and role-based permissions.
- Ability to set up data cataloging and metadata management in Snowflake to enable easy data discovery and lineage tracking.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.
- Holds certifications for any of the cloud services like AWS, Snowflake, GCP or Azure
- Experience using Airflow, PySpark, & SnowSQL for efficient data processing.
- Previous experience with data management technologies (Informatica, IBM, Alteryx, Microsoft) preferred.
- Experience in data modeling in a Data vault 2.0 framework.

The salary range for this position considers multiple factors influencing compensation decisions, such as skillset, previous experience, certifications, and various business & organizational requirements. Being hired at or near the top of the range for this role is uncommon, as compensation determinations rely on individual circumstances. Currently, the base salary range is estimated to be between $120,000 and $170,000.
