JOB SUMMARY:

The SMT Machine Operator is responsible for running the machine to assist in the efficient operation of SMT and the production of high quality PCBAs.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reading paperwork to understand how machine operates. 

• Ensure all SMT equipment is configured and operating within process controls.
• Reading customer and company documentation 
• Maintain an ESD safe environment.

• Attention to quality. 
• Produce product that meets customer specifications.
• Follow all company policies and work rules as stated in the Employee Handbook
• Flexibility and initiative to take on other roles/processes other departments as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and walk in high-traffic areas.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Job Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• SMT machine operation experiences are plus.

Training Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong understanding of technical documentation.
• Proficient with computers, knowledge of shop floor management software (ERP) and related programs is plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Systematic and able to work under pressure.
• Proactive, demonstrates initiative and self-motivated.
• Strong communication and organizational skills
