Job description:

 

Build strong working relationships with client stakeholders from executives to shop floor, to understand their as-is and to-be workflows at each site.

Elaborate requirements and constraints for each planned site implementation.

Define solution architecture for each site, establishing minimum requirements for go-live and prioritized backlog for value enhancements.

Lead gap analysis and risk analysis of proposed solution versus site requirements and propose creative mitigations.

Support implementation teams to address the key priorities for successful go-live and to subsequently demonstrate meaningful value improvements at each site.

Act as a champion for solution deployment at each site to ensure that all stakeholders are well supported through the transition and delighted with the end result.

 

Minimum requirements:

 

3-5 years in a technical lead/architect position driving implementation of Smart Plant solutions

Training or certification as an architect for IT/OT systems.

Very strong interpersonal communication, negotiation, presentation and leadership-by-influence skills.

Programming and/or Configuration of SDX.
Definition, Implementation and Configuration of Owner's Standards into SPO/SDX including Plant Breakdown Structures, Document Classifications, Tag Naming Conventions etc.
Configuration of Data Model(s), workflows, templates, and reports.
Create/update SPO/SDX Users and manage Access rights.
Design and implement integration with client Line of Business Systems, such as SAP and OSI PI.
Design and implement integration with plant design solutions, SPI, SPEL, SPPID and S3D.
Make changes to SPO/SDX configuration to add new functionality e.g. add new forms, attributes, commodity codes etc.
Fix problems and add new enhancements in SPO/SDX.
Trouble shoot IT, Oracle, and Citrix related issues.
Co-ordinate the system support with IT to ensure the IT infrastructure is appropriate to support the application.
Search/View/Print access to, Instrumentation Reports, P&ID Drawings, CAD Drawings and Process Data through SPO/SDX.
Provide Training for SPO/SDX Search/View/Print functions.
Provide end user support for SPO/SDX.
Maintain integrity & Quality of data in SPO/SDX Engineering data warehouse.
Support Major projects with TAG Audits.
Consolidate Tags from design tools (S3D/SPPID/SPI/SPEL), EPC Lists & Tags extracted from CAD files.
Process the consolidated Tag lists to find Non-Compliant Tags (extensive use of automation tools developed in-house).
Prepare Non-Compliant Tag report with executive summary and send it to the Audit Coordinator
Prepare a tag list to be loaded into SPO/SDX.

 

Degree in any Engineering discipline, Computer science or related field with minimum 5 yrs hands on experience working with engineering related software and/or engineering IT technologies for an Process Industry (O&G, Chemical, Petrochemical or similar) or EPC.
Certification in Smart Plant Foundation, SPO, SP Fusion/SDA and optimally SDx.
A good knowledge of Smart Plant EFSchema configuration and management.
