A busy and loving father near the Marina District in San Francisco, CA is looking for a part-Time Nanny/family assistant to start by June 2024 (but is open to having the candidate start sooner if preferred). The 2 children, an 8-year-old boy and 5-year-old girl, are with Dad Monday’s/Tuesday’s and every other Friday-Sunday. While some flexibility is ideal, the general schedule for the candidate would be 18-20 hours per week guaranteed, Monday/Tuesday/Friday from 12pm-6pm, and every other Saturday/Sunday there would be additional hours offered. Family assistant duties can fill the hours every other Friday when the children are not with Dad. Summer might entail 8 hour days during the week when the children are not in camps and are with Dad.
Nanny responsibilities will include overall care of the children, school pick-ups, taking to after-school activities, planning and accompanying to play-dates, planning and taking them on outings and keeping them active and engaged, staying organized and on top of their schedules and communicating with Dad, helping with homework when needed, helping prepare snacks and meals for the children, bath, and help with bedtime when needed. Family assistant responsibilities will include running errands, stocking the home with needed essentials, bringing packages in and breaking down boxes, organizing home spaces, helping with projects, contacting and scheduling vendors and home repairs, helping manage family calendar, and occasional grocery shopping.

Hourly rate is competitive and based on experience, with the standard benefits offered. Candidates must be CPR and First Aid Certified (or willing to certify before employment begins), COVID vaccinated, have a valid driver’s license and clean driving background (a nanny car can be provided if needed), be able to swim, and be Trustline Certified.
