Security Site Supervisor
Pay rate: $18.00
Shifts:Days to be worked: monday - sunday
Shift to be worked:3pm to 11pm

- Must own a personal vehicle for travel between client locations (mileage reimbursement in place)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Must have practical communications skills, both verbal and written, in English
- Ability to handle crises at the client site calmly and efficiently
- Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Have strong critical thinking skills as well as comparable organizational skills
- Must be able to navigate our handheld systems and apps.

Responsibilities
- The Site Supervisor reports to the Operations Manager or District Manager depending on geography.
The Site Supervisor has direct ownership of his/her client site and
everything that occurs or fails to occur on site.
The Site Supervisor provides direct
oversight of the Security Officers working on site.
The Site Supervisor duties include but
are not limited to direct, regular supervision, direction, and support of security personnel
through site ownership, evaluation of Officer performance, and providing training to
correct shortcomings.
The Site Supervisor is the primary point of contact for outline
deficiencies, actions taken to remedy them and highlight exceptional performance.
The
successful Site Supervisor will know and understand the roles and responsibilities of the
Brosnan Risk Consultant's (BRC) Security Officer and all aspects of the site under
supervision.
The Site Supervisor must have a valid Driver's License, personal
transportation, and valid Security Officer credentials for the site they supervise.
Responsibilities of the Inside Security Officer will include:
Continuously patrolling inside of the store (random pattern)
*Scan QR codes or tokens, provided by the security provider, which have been placed inside the store in areas of concern. Remain in the area for a few minutes watching for suspicious activity and practicing the 10 ft rule with customers and associates.
Notify AP if they observe any broken or missing fire door seals, unsecured doors in
the back room or unlocked showcases
Notify the store team if you observe any unsafe conditions while patrolling the
store
Challenging anyone without a name badge in the back room (including vendors)
Escort cash pulls when requested by management – will not handle any cash or
push the transport cart. Security Officer should be on the lookout for suspicious persons or activity around the cash handling operations.
Inside security officer will not:
- Make apprehension’s (may be used as a witness only)
- Check receipts
- Replace APCH for breaks, lunches, or open shifts
If a security officer observes what they believe to be a theft, they should
immediately contact asset protection or management. If unable to contact AP or
Management, they should use aggressive hospitality, but are not authorized to stop
the suspect.
- Exterior Patrol Officer will be called Security Officer 2 (SO2).
- Security Officer 2 will utilize a high-profile vehicle that is clearly marked as a security
patrol vehicle with high visibility LED lightbar.
- Responsibilities of the Exterior Patrol Officer will include:
- Continuously patrolling with lights flashing
- Keep windows rolled down enough so that they can hear what’s going on around them
- Patrol the entire parking lot, to include sides and back of building in a random pattern
Address concerns of:
-People loitering around building and vehicles
- Overnight camping
- Parking in the fire lane
-Panhandlers and solicitors
-Blocked fire exits
-Notify management about vehicles that appear to be abandoned or left on the property for extended periods of time
-Security Officers will not tow any vehicles
-Notify management and they can make that decision
-Notify management of any other unsafe conditions that they are unable to address
-Park the security vehicle in the designated parking area when it is not in use
-A security officer or supervisor will notify management if the security vehicle will be off site for maintenance or any other purpose
-When SO2 needs to take a break or lunch, SO1 will move to the exterior to continue patrolling and become SO2.
-The exterior patrol should be staffed anytime there is only one security officer working.
