We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our elite service team working at major integrated circuit manufacturers across the United States. This immediate opening is for the critical role as Site Service Supervisor supporting gas treatment equipment located in Hillsboro, OR. The ideal candidate would have 3+ years of experience managing a crew of 6+ personnel and experience with waste gas abatement equipment. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide effective leadership for a team of up to 10 individuals responsible for the maintenance and operation of DAS abatement equipment.
- Foster a collaborative team environment and ensure adherence to safety practices in line with OSHA and DAS USA standards.
- Manage and supervise on-site teams, addressing maintenance issues, alarms, and repairs.
- Conduct annual employee performance evaluations in accordance with DAS USA
- Approve and manage requests for Paid Time Off (PTO) and schedule personnel to meet service contract requirements.
- Maintain high-level operational efficiency while fostering positive morale and job satisfaction among both customers and employees.
- Periodic travel to other customer sites and DAS HQ as required.
- Lead startup and commissioning activities for new equipment.
- Provide technical support to customers and collaborate with the DAS application team.
- Address technical inquiries from customers regarding system repairs and applications.
- Stay abreast of the latest upgrades, products, and software through continuous training.
- Prepare comprehensive written reports for work performed.
- Conduct warranty repairs, retrofits, and troubleshooting of waste gas abatement systems.
- Deliver system maintenance and operation training to customers.
- Install system upgrades and actively participate in performance improvement efforts.
- Approve and submit expense reports in accordance with company policies.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Degree in electronics, mechanics, or equivalent military training
- HAZOP experience dealing with toxic, corrosive, and flammable gases.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical, plumbing and communication systems.
- 5+ years of experience working inside a semiconductor manufacturing or similar facility.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow schematics, plans, and other technical documents.
- Strong customer service and people skills
- Basic to intermediate PLC experience is a plus.
- High voltage electrical experience is a plus
