Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sign and GraphicsPrint and Equipment Operator/Coordinator to play a crucial role in our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and coordinating with other team members operating various printing and finishing equipment to produce high-quality Sign and Graphics, and a vast array of unique and custom offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain large-format digital roll and flatbed printers, high-speed cutters, CNC, laser engraver, ADA (raised print) capable printer, vinyl plotters, laminators, and other related equipment.
- Prepare and set up materials for printing, including loading media, adjusting settings, and performing test runs.
- Monitor printing quality and make adjustments as necessary to ensure consistent and accurate output.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Perform finishing tasks such as cutting, mounting, laminating, and applying grommets or other hardware.
- Collaborate with the deSign and production team to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, and manage inventory of printing materials and supplies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in operating large-format digital printers, and related equipment.
- Proficiency in RIP software, Adobe Creative Suite, and other deSign and printing applications.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for color accuracy and consistency.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of various types of signage materials and their applications is a plus.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
