The Data Operations Analyst is a key member of sales and operations team that manages and analyzes product and pricing files for all business segments within the Painters Supply organization. This position drives process improvement by organizing and developing actionable strategies through data management in collaboration with the National Sales, Purchasing, Operations and Warehouse teams.
Responsibilities:
Conduct strategies and detailed analytics using market dynamics and trends to lead pricing discussions.
Support the continuous development and implementation of pricing strategies in line with business goals and market conditions.
Deploy strategic pricing strategies, support request for proposal processes for key customers, provide insight into pricing data.
Provide analytics support to deliver market insights and pricing to internal business clients.
Design, develop and implement pricing strategies to support our organization's products, services, or market sector.
Independently handle issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff
Develop strong understanding of product lines and part number structure.
Other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of related work experience in pricing, finance, accounting, data analytics, or related field.
- Experience in PBE (Paint, Body & Equipment), Automotive Parts, or similar industries is a plus
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft suite, including intermediate to advanced Excel skills (Vlookup, Pivot tables)
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Experience with ERP systems, Comcept is a plus!
- Strong expertise in data, project & time management
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Comprehensive technical and business knowledge
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
