SAIC is looking for an experienced engineer for the USG program office. Outreach Support requires a comprehensive understanding of SIGINT missions from satellite operations to ground mission management to user requirements. The position requires an ability to clearly articulate the SIGINT mission to a wide variety of audiences, listen to their concerns and needs, then identify potential enhancements for future acquisitions. This position requires a basic understanding of government satellite systems acquisitions. This position requires knowledge of program office processes and use of Microsoft Office tools.
Job Duties include:
- Building educational briefings of the SIGINT organization and mission to match a wide variety of user needs. Present the briefings or train the government customer to present the briefings.
- Researching and presenting mission highlights on a monthly basis to a large audience.
- Working closely with the SIGINT Directorate to align our outreach message to the overarching SIGINT message.
- Educating operational teams and users on upcoming launches. Be able to advise them on new capabilities that will be delivered with the new satellite.
- Developing storyboards for video presentations as needed to support satellite launches, emerging missions, or other strategic messages to be shared with the users. Coordinating with the SIGINT Directorate for drafting of news releases as necessary.
- Facilitating discussion with the acquisition and analysis teams for further assessment of potential enhancements identified by users.
- Responsibility for maintaining briefing history, user engagement logs, trip reports, after action reports.
Qualifications
Position Qualifications
- Requires a TS/SCI with Poly
- BS Degree in a technical discipline required
- 5 years of experience with a BS degree, 3 years of experience with an MS degree
Skills and Experience
- SIGINT experience
- Experience in NRO, IC, and DoD
- Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically powerpoint
- Previous education or training experience
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, team building and problem solving skills
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
