Daily Work Times: Monday-Friday 5:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m & 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Scheduled Bi-Weekly Hours: 80
Position Summary:
Works under the direction of the Director of Security. The Shuttle Driver is responsible for safe transport staff to and from the hospital. These duties are performed in a timely, courteous and accurate and safe manner. Promotes customer safety.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Staff Transports: Transports staff to/from the hospital, and the shuttle bus parking lot to the facility in a timely, safe and courteous manner.
- Shuttle responsibilities: fueling the shuttle bus as needed; reporting any maintenance issues.
- Housekeeping: Maintains the shuttle is in clean and safe operation. Reports safety defects immediately to Director of Security. Removes garbage and vacuums the shuttle as needed.

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Possess a valid non-restricted State of Michigan driver's License. Possess a valid non-restrictive Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with Endorsement P - Passenger: For vehicles which are designed to carry 16 or more people (including the driver)
- Must provide proof of insurability.
