Short Term After School Nanny Needed

Children: Girl - Age 10 (5th grade) Boy - Age 8 (2nd grade)

Compensation: $20-$25 per hour

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 2 P.M. - 6 P.M.

This wonderful family in the Linden Hills area is looking for after-school help for their busy household. Duties would include getting the kids from the bus/after-school activities, settling at home with homework/instrument practices, and beginning to prep dinner. Their daughter rides a bus to a central drop-off location near their home. One day a week their son stays After School for an activity and would need to be picked up from school. Additional help folding laundry would be appreciated if time allows. Before picking the kids up they have a dog that will be at doggie daycare that needs to be picked up. So the right candidate needs to be comfortable with their dog and doing the pick-up, as well as a possible short walk in the afternoon. They are also looking for a candidate who has flexibility for the infrequent times that school is closed and one parent is traveling and the other is working. Their ideal nanny would have basic first-aid training, covid vaccination and a good driving record. They would love it if someone was bi-lingual however it is not a deal breaker. Both kids study Spanish in school. They are looking for a nanny is is active and engaging, and wants to enrich the kids' lives with activities such as arts, music, language, and nature experiences such as walks and hikes. The nanny would be expected to transport the kids and the dog in their own car.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 15 per week
