Shopify Expert

BASIC FUNCTION: The Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe is seeking an experienced IT Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Shopify and expertise in website development, eCommerce, and digital marketing. If you do not have experience in Shopify, we will train you. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our Shopify store, ensuring its functionality and ease of use, and making sure that the website is fully optimized to drive sales and increase engagement. This is an on-site position, but some work can be done remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain the Shrine's Shopify store, ensuring its functionality and ease of use

· Implement best practices for website design, development, and maintenance

· Work with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns

· Manage and optimize the website’s search engine optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising

· Monitor website performance and identify areas for improvement

· Troubleshoot website issues and implement solutions in a timely manner

· Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in eCommerce and digital marketing

Preferred:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

· Experience in Shopify development and website management

· An understanding of eCommerce and digital marketing best practices

· Experience with website optimization, including SEO and PPC advertising

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

· Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills

TYPICAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS

· General office environment

· Must be able to use standard office equipment such as computer and access to the internet, cash register, telephone, fax machine etc. in conjunction with office related duties

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
