Job Description
- This position oversees Steel Fabrication shop (Machine Operators, Fabricators, Welders, Laborers).
- Responsible to act in accordance with the policies set forth in the Macuch Steel Employee Handbook.
- Daily responsibilities include maximize production, minimize cost, manage personnel, advance information flow, promote safety and assure a top-quality end product.

- Manage Information Flow.
- Control Expenses.
- Quality & Safety.
- Customer Service.
- Other duties may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Five ·or more years' experience in shop floor production, specifically with structural steel ideally.
- Two years or more experience as foreman or supervisor.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Experience with CNC and manual machine operation.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- ABILITY TO READ A TAPE MEASURE TO 1 /16" IS A MUST.
