Shop Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping build pumps, working with shipping and receiving, working in the office, and also working in the shop. The Shop Assistant will be responsible for ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in building pumps and other equipment

- Work with shipping and receiving to ensure timely delivery of products

- Assist in maintaining inventory levels

- Work in the office to complete administrative tasks

- Work in the shop to complete various tasks as needed

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in a similar role preferred

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Strong attention to detail

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Must be able to build pumps vacuum pumps, vertical turbine, centrifugal pumps, boiler feed pumps

- Basic computer skills

- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
