About Furniture Medic:
Furniture Medic by Valley Service Group is one of the top 10 Furniture Medic Franchises in the country, is growing and looking for a shop help/Apprentice in Phoenix. This role will be primarily responsible for assisting senior installers and builders. On-sites will be a mixture of residential and commercial atmospheres. The position offers a diversity of work as no two projects are the same. It also offers the opportunity to provide your input into the projects you work on.
Summary of the position:
Cabinet removal and job pick up. Technician will be requested to accompany crew with pick up of new cabinet jobs, removal of existing parts, pick up of furniture and organizing intake at warehouse. Technician will be trained to remove and prop granite counters in place. Technician will be requested to assist with installation of cabinets in homes, loading and unloading of vehicle. Room for growth as skill level is gained will be available. Applicant will be trained in all aspects of furniture removal, cabinet removal, construction, and shop organization. Work sites will vary from in warehouse to on-site residential and commercial job sites. All applicants should have comfort with shop space and ability to work in different locations.
Essential Job Functions:
Responsible for dropping off/picking up parts
Responsible for cleaning the shop
Responsible for assisting each team's needs as requested.
Qualifications Requests:
Some warehouse experience is preferred.
Experience with saws, drills and hand tools.
Must be able to lift +50 lbs.
Must be able to read a tape measure.
Valid Driver's License is required.

All tools required for this position are provided, as well as a company vehicle during work hours by Furniture Medic by Valley Service Group. (Tools for building supplied by Furniture Medic by Valley Service Group - You may choose to bring and use your personal tools.)
