Ship/Receiving/Warehouse Asst

What you'll do:

• Observe safety and security procedures, report potentially unsafe acts and conditions, use equipment and materials properly
• Be proficient in the essential duties and responsibilities for warehouse material handler
• Load and unload trucks per procedure
• Pull and stage customer orders per procedure
• Ship small packages via package carrier
• Inventory materials in warehouse.
• Tag raw materials in Protraq, receive raw material in E1 and track raw material in the raw material log
• User RF scanner to verify and track every carton and pallets of products and affix shipping labels on cartons and pallets identifying shipping information

• Enjoy working in clean and organized warehouse and assisting in maintaining cleanliness
• Like to drive forklift to ensure product is getting moved to the appropriate places within the plant warehouse
• Verifying placement of incoming materials into proper locations

What you'll need to have:

• Two-year Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or six months to one year related experience or training
• The ability to safely drive a forklift and operate other mobile equipment.
• Ability to use a pallet jack and hand dolly
• Good math skills and the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
• Knowledge of ED Edwards and SAP or general understanding of business systems as the apply to warehouse operations
• A minimum of six months of forklift driving experience and pass the certification test
• Experience in a manufacturing facility
